Designed, manufactured and assembled entirely the UK, the GEMINI linear amplifier is a solid state linear amplifier with 300W output available in 6/4m, 2m, 70cm and a 200W 23cm version.
Designed to fill a market gap between the low power outputs of transverters and smaller rigs and the 1kW plus amplifiers that not all users want or can afford the Gemini range combines low drive requirements with instant on solid state performance in a compact stylish package.

Now available as an option – the amplifier can now be specified with a rear panel 0dBm SMA socket for predistortion linearisation for use with the latest generation of SDR’s.

The GEmini 2 uses the Freescale MRFE6VP6300H LDMOS device for high performance and maximum ruggedness. This, combined with built in protection for overdrive, High SWR and over temperature ensures solid reliable performance at high outputs for long periods.

The 144MHz Gemini 2 also incorporates a fully sequenced front panel switchable 13.8v preamplifier supply on receive. This can be selected by the operator to be either an output voltage on the rear panel or a bias tee feed as required. The rer panel also has output for sequencing the rig as well as teh amp and preamp so can safely operate a changeover sequence for masthead preamps that do not have RF switching.

Furthermore GEMINI is a complete turnkey solution incorporating a complete 50V linear power supply so no external PSU is required.
